Despite years of meaningful work supporting children and protecting the environment in Sucre, Bolivia, Fundación Wawa Huasi lacked a unified visual identity that clearly communicated the scope and heart of its mission. The absence of a recognizable logo made it difficult to build trust, rally partners, and tell a cohesive story that connects their work across generations and ecosystems.

Process

We engaged deeply with the foundation’s team and community members to distill the essence of their work into a single visual identity. Through interviews, collaborative sketches, and message alignment, we identified three core pillars—children’s well-being, environmental stewardship, and intergenerational community building (Bosque Tanga Tanga)—and developed a logo that symbolically ties these elements together. Every shape and color was chosen to reflect the animals of the Valley of Sucre, the innocence and strength of childhood, and the iconic arches from where the museum stands and overlooks the city

Results

  • The new logo is a vibrant, layered mark reflecting Wawa Huasi’s commitment to nurturing life in all its forms.
  • It balances warmth and resilience, childhood and growth, tradition and vision.
  • The logo is now used consistently across all communications, including signage and donation campaigns.
  • This consistent usage creates instant recognition and fosters a strong sense of pride within the community it represents.

Impact

With a unified visual identity, Fundación Wawa Huasi now stands stronger in its mission. The new logo has helped increase visibility, attract new partners, and unify internal messaging around the foundation’s three core pillars. More importantly, it gives the children, families, and environmental stewards of Sucre a symbol they can rally behind—one that reflects a space to play by learning, resilience, and hope for a sustainable future.
